Test results can be viewed live as the test runs and once the test has finished. Results can be viewed wither in the Monitoring tab or the Results tab, the monitoring tab will only have content as the test runs. Once the test has stopped those results are shunted across to the Results tab and filed under the Job name and then by the date and time that the test was started. This section will cover the Result tab as the functions available in the Result tab (barring just a few such as Generate Report, Anomaly Detector and some others) are the same as those available in the Monitoring tab.
If for any reason the AgileLoad Test Center is closed (deliberately or not), unless the stop button was clicked, the test will not be stopped. Reopening AgileLoad Test Center and navigating to the Monitoring tab will show the current set of results as they are generated.
The results tab is organised by Job name and Result set (denoted by the date and time that the test was started). If multiple analysts are accessing the same repository and a result set is not showing, clicking the refresh button (circular yellow arrows at the top left of the Result tab) will update the view.
Under each of the folders are another set of subfolders where all the results are organised, if any infrastructure monitoring was set up that data is also kept here.
A report can be generated simply by right clicking the high level time stamped folder and selecting Generate Report (see earlier section on report generation placed with AgileLoad Starter). The same right click can also be used to choose Anomaly Detection which is very useful for finding infrastructure bottlenecks. Anomaly detection will be covered in the advanced section as in the main it relates to infrastructure monitoring. Any previously generated reports or Anomaly lists are filed under the Anomalies Lists or Reports folders. Global HTTP View & Global Timers / SLA View are covered in the earlier section relating to AgileLoad Starter.
