The Web Service window shows information related to the Web Service Instances running on the IIS target.
Web Service detailed statistics:
By default, the last snapshot is displayed in the grid. Use the slidder (or the arrow buttons) located at the top of the grid to navigate through the collected snapshots. In monitoring, the "Auto Update" button must be unchecked to be able to navigate through the collected snapshots.
Select one or more instances in the grid (Check box at the left of the grid) to update the charts located at the bottom of the window. If several entries are selected, the statistics are aggregated.
The Web Service window shows the followings counters for each individual instances :
Current Connections (unit)
Total: The current number of connections established with the Web service. Anonymous: The number of users who currently have an anonymous connection using the Web service. NonAnonymous: The number of users who currently have a non-anonymous connection using the Web service. Connections (unit/sec)
Conn/s: The rate that connections using the Web service are being attempted. Requests (unit/sec)
Get/s: The rate HTTP requests using the GET method are made. Get requests are generally used for basic file retrievals or image maps, though they can be used with forms. Post/s: The rate HTTP requests using the POST method are made. Post requests are generally used for forms or gateway requests. Head/s: The rate HTTP requests using the HEAD method are made. Head requests generally indicate a client is querying the state of a document they already have to see if it needs to be refreshed. Put/s: The rate HTTP requests using the PUT method are made. CGI/s: The rate of CGI requests that are simultaneously being processed by the Web service. ISAPI/s: The rate of ISAPI Extension requests that are simultaneously being processed by the Web service. 404/s: The rate of errors due to requests that couldn't be satisfied by the server because the requested document could not be found. These are generally reported as an HTTP 404 error code to the client. Throughput (KB/s)
Sent/s: The rate that data bytes are sent by the Web service. Received/s: The rate that data bytes are received by the Web service. Total/s: The total rate of bytes transferred by the Web service. Files (Unit/s)
Sent/s: The rate files are sent by the Web service. Received/s: The rate files are received by the Web service. Bandwidth throttling (Unit)
Blocked Req.: Current requests temporarily blocked due to bandwidth throttling settings.
