The MySQL Monitor parameters

Double-click a collector in the Agileload Test Center repository tree to open the collector editor.

Connection parameters

  1. Enter the MySQL Server host name in the host field
  2. In the Port field, enter the MySQL Server listening port (default is 3306).

  3. Enter a Login and Password

    Remark: The user defined in Login is able to execute the following statement: 'SHOW STATUS' ('SHOW GLOBAL STATUS' from 5.0.2), 'SHOW VARIABLES', 'SHOW PROCESSLIST'.
    (minimal privilege needed: SELECT)

      Examples:
        mysql> GRANT SELECT ON *.* TO 'perfo'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'pass';

  4. Check the compress option to use compression in server/client protocol

  5. Check the Ssl option to set up a secure connection.

  6. Click the Test Connection button to check the validity of the settings you have defined.
    A window appears indicating the success or failure of the test connection.

Polling Time

Enter a polling value in the Polling Time (seconds) edit box to control the frequency of data collection.
