JMS

The JMS overview gives a quick access to the activity of JMS resource.

Message (unit)

Count

Total number of messages contained in this store.
messageCount = messageRecovered + messageEnqueued - messageDequeued - messageDiscarded - messageExpired

If a message is both enqueued and dequeued in the same transaction, the messageEnqueued and messageDequeued events occur, but the messageRecovered and messageDiscarded events do not.

Pending Total number of messages part of an enqueue/dequeue of an active transaction.

Queue (unit/s)

Enqueued Total number of message enqueues. This includes all the messages sent, regardless of whether the delivery has been committed, rolled back, or is still pending
Dequeued Total number of message dequeues. This includes all the messages received, regardless of whether the receipt has been acknowledged or committed, rolled back, or is still pending.

Message (unit)

Expired Total number of message expirations.
Recovered Total number of messages recovered (either from a persistence file, or after the rollback of a dequeue).
Discarded Total number of message discarded after the rollback of an enqueue.

Active (unit)

Handlers Number of active handlers on the JMS server.
Connections Total number of active JMS connections.

Committed and Rolledback (unit/s)

Committed Total number of JMS message enqueues and dequeues that have been committed. This does not include the non-transactional sends or receives. Note that if a message was sent and committed, and later received and committed, that adds a total of 2 to this count.
Rolledback Total the number of JMS message enqueues and dequeues that have been rolled back since startup. This does not include the non-transactional sends or receives. Note that if a message is repeatedly received and rolled back, this count is incremented once for each time it was rolled back.

In/Out (unit)

Paged In Total number of message bodies paged in.
Paged Out Total number of message bodies paged out.
