Engines

The Engines window shows information about the engines activity.

The grid located at the top of the window shows each individual engine with the following information for each one:

EngineNumber Number of the Adaptive Server engine
System Cpu (%) Percentage of time the engine has been executing system database services
User Cpu (%) Percentage of time the engine has been executing user commands
Idle Cpu (%) Percentage of time the engine has been in idle spin mode
Connections Number of connections handled
Status Status of the engine (online, offline, and so on)
Context Switches/s Number of context switches per second
Processes Affinitied Number of processes that have been affinitied to this engine
KPid Kernel process identifier for the currently executing process
Os Pid OS process identifier

By default, the last snapshot is displayed in the grid. Use the slidder (or the arrow buttons) located at the top of the grid to navigate through the collected snapshots. In monitoring, the "Update" button must be unchecked to be able to navigate through the collected snapshots.

Select one or more engines in the grid (Check box at the left of the grid) to update the graphes located at the bottom of the window. If several engines are selected, the statistics are aggregated.
