Sessions

The Sessions window shows information about the Sessions activity.

The grid located at the top of the window shows each individual session with the following information for each one:

Spid Session identifier
Login login
Application application name
Database current database
CPU Time (ms) CPU time (in milliseconds) used by the process
Memory Usage (KB) Amount of memory (in bytes) allocated to the process
Logi. Rds/s Number of buffers read from cache per second
Phys. Rds/s Number of buffers read from disk per second
Phys. Wr/s Number of buffers written to disk per second
Transactions/s Number of transactions started by the process per second
Rollbacks/s Number of transactions rolled back by the process per second
Commits/s Number of transactions committed by the process per second
Index Accesses/s Number of pages where data was retrieved using an index per second
Table Accesses/s Number of pages where data was retrieved without an index per second
Temp Objects/s Number of temporary tables accessed per second
Locks Number of locks process currently holds
Blocking Spid Session process identifier of the process holding the lock that this process has requested, if waiting for a lock
Blocked Time(s) Amount of time in seconds that the process has been waiting, if the process is currently in a wait state
Network KBytes sent/s Number of Kbytes sent per second
Network KBytes recv/s Number of Kbytes received per second
ULC Usage (bytes) The current usage (in bytes) of the User log cache by the process
Engine Unique identifier of the engine on which the process is executing
KPID Kernel process identifier
Wait Event Event that the process is waiting for, if the process is currently in a wait state

By default, the last snapshot is displayed in the grid. Use the slidder (or the arrow buttons) located at the top of the grid to navigate through the collected snapshots. In monitoring, the "Update" button must be unchecked to be able to navigate through the collected snapshots.

Select one or more sessions in the grid (Check box at the left of the grid) to update the graphes located at the bottom of the window. If several sessions are selected, the statistics are aggregated.
