Compiling a Script

The Compile command is used to ensure the validity of the script syntax. 
To compile a script:

  1. Select the Execute/Syntax Check.. menu option (or Syntax Check toolbar icon .)

  2. The compilation status and errors are displayed in the Check tab of the Outputwindow.

If compilation is unsuccessful, the script's contents may need to be changed to resolve the problem.
A Double-Click on a reported error automatically sets the focus in the script editor on the corresponding bad statement.
