Monitoring a Job
To monitor a running job, select the Monitoring tab in the Workspace window. The list of available statistics will appear.
The Global HTTP view () displays in a single window:
Virtual user statistics (active, started, finished, aborted)
HTTP/S request status statistics (200, 302, 304, ...)
Hits and Connection statistics (Hits/s, Connections/s)
The HTTP Byte statistics (input, output)
The network statistics
The audit log: Information, warnings, errors, check failed messages and user traces.
It is automatically opened when a job is started if the option “Show Global HTTP view” if set to true in the Settings dialog box (Options/Settings menu.)
If the option is set to False, expand the tree and double-click on the Global HTTP view entry (). The following window will appear, which is updated every 10 seconds:
Global Timer view
The Global Timer View () statistic combines all transaction and page timers into a single window. Select the "Global Timer View" entry; the following window will appear.
Select a timer from the top list (i.e. TP_HOME); The selected timer statistics are displayed in the bottom graphs.
Example of a Custom Graph: Active Users / Time and Hits per second
Expand the tree and double-click on the Active Users/Time entry under the HTTP folder (). The following graph will appear, which is updated every 10 seconds:
The right axis represents the number of active users.
Select the Hits per Second entry under the HTTP folder (), drag and drop it onto the previously opened graph.
The left axis represents the number of Hits per second.
