Transactions and Pages per Second

Transaction Timers

Transaction Timers measures a series of HTTP requests that represent a complete Web browser transaction. A Transaction Timer defines a sequence of code within a Script in order to measure the duration of the delimited HTTP transaction. An HTTP transaction is a user-defined sequence of code within a Script contained by the Start Timer TRANS_ and the End Timer TRANS_ commands in the Code section of a Script. During Script creation, a transaction timer named T_<SCRIPTNAME> delimiting all the HTTP requests from the script is automatically generated.

Page Timers

A Page Timer defines a sequence of code within a Script in order to measure the duration of the delimited HTTP Page. An HTTP page is a user-defined sequence of code within a Script contained in the Start Page Timer TRANS_ and the End Page Timer TRANS_ commands in the Code section of a Script.
