Constant

Description:

This statement defines a variable that has a static value in a Script. The variable may be translated at compilation time, and not consume CPU at run-time.
The value of a constant may be an integer value or a quoted character string.
Constants can be used in any situation where a literal of the same type (i.e. string, integer or float) can be used. The only constraint is that the constant must be defined before it is used..

Format:

CONSTANT name = value;

Parameter:

name

The name of the constant. This must be a valid AgileLoad Dataname.

value

A quoted character string, an integer or a float value.

Example:

CONSTANT True = 1;
CONSTANT False = 0;
CONSTANT Prompt = "Enter a value: ";
