Delete Cache Command

Description:

For each http/s request, the http/s injector analyzes the server http cache headers and saves the cache information (dates, tags). It does not save the document content. When a request is executed again, the cache information are sent to the web server using the "if-modified-since" and/or "if-no-match" Http headers.
The Delete Cache command deletes the content of a virtual user cache.

Note: This command is only useful if the "Check if expired" or "Check always" cache option has been set for the job.

Format:

Delete Cache;

Example:

integer iStatus;

http get host "localhost" url "/test.html" iStatus = GetStatus();
log "status = " + ToString(iStatus);

delete cache;

http get host "localhost" url "/test.html" iStatus = GetStatus();
log "status = " + ToString(iStatus);

Output:

status = 304
status = 200
