To help evaluate the performance of components of your back office environment, collectors are used to monitor and collect performance data from target components of production systems and Web Application Environments (WAEs) during Job-runs.

To create a new collector: 

  1. Select the File/New... menu (or the New toolbar icon ).

  2. Select the icon associated with the collector type.

  3. Enter a collector name in the Name edit box.

  4. Click OK.


  1. Right-click on the Collector folder in the Repository tree.

  2. Select a collector type in the popup menu.

  1. A new entry is created in the Repository tree under the Collector folder.

  2. Specify a new name for the newly created collector.

To Edit a collector:

Double-click on a collector entry in the repository tree. The Collector document is opened in the Job Management window.
