Modifying the Chart Look Legend

To modify the Chart Look legend:

  1. Select a Chart Element in the Workspace pane pane and double-click it to open it.
     
  2. To display the Chart Look pane, right-click the Chart Preview area and select Chart Properties.
    The Chart Look pane appears.
     
  3. Select the Chart Look you want to modify.



    The selected Chart Look is automatically applied to the current Chart Element.
     
  4. In the Chart options field, select Legend to modify the Chart Look legend


     
  5. You can now modify the Chart Look legend appearance.



    The following table describes the Chart Look pane options and their uses.

     

    Option

    Title

    Font

    Modifies the legend title font

    Color

    Modifies the legend title color

    Bg. Color

    Modifies the legend title background color

    Body

    Font

    Modifies the legend body font

    Color

    Modifies the legend body color

    Columns

    Scale

    if True, the "Scale" columns is inserted in the legend.
    If false, it is not inserted

    Min

    if True, the "Min" columns is inserted in the legend.
    If false, it is not inserted

    Max if True, the Max columns is inserted in the legend.
    If false, it is not inserted
    Avg if True, the "Avg" columns is inserted in the legend.
    If false, it is not inserted
    Std dev. if True, the "Std dev" columns is inserted in the legend.
    If false, it is not inserted
    Axis if True, the "Axis" columns is inserted in the legend.
    If false, it is not inserted
    Name Title Allows to specify a new name from the "Name" column.
    Scale Title Allows to specify a new name from the "Scale" column.
    Min Title Allows to specify a new name from the "Min" column.
    Max Title Allows to specify a new name from the "Max" column.
    Avg Title Allows to specify a new name from the "Avg" column.
    Std dev Title Allows to specify a new name from the "Std dev" column.
    Axis Title Allows to specify a new name from the "Axis" column.
