AgileLoad offers different recording methods that can be chosen
- the client program used during the recording session (most of
the time, a browser),
- the network protocols used (HTTP/S or not),
- the client program capacity to connect to a proxy server.
Use the Record Toolbar or the Record
menu in AgileLoad Script Editor to control the recording
- Click the Record button in
the Record Toolbar, or select the
option to begin the HTTP/S recording process.
- Your browser's
Home page Internet option is overridden by AgileLoad Script Editor
when you start recording. The setting is replaced with
about:blank, which specifies that
your home page will be a blank HTML page. This ensures that your
normal Home page is not launched and recorded in the Script.
- Type in a URL and hit
Return or select a URL from the
browser's URL Address bar. Then use the browser as normal to
perform the actions you want to record in your Script.
Use the Add Comment button in the Record Toolbar to add comments while
you are recording a Web session, or select the
Comments menu option. The time taken to add a comment
is not recorded in the Script.
Use the Start/Stop Timer button in the Record
Toolbar to add timers while you are recording a Web session, or
select the Record/Start-stop Timer menu option. The time
taken to add a timer command is not recorded in the
- Close the browser or AgileLoad

end the recording session.
When you have finished recording
the Script, the formatted data is displayed in the Script Pane as
