Replay Differences view

The "Replay Differences" view is splitted in 3 parts:

List of differences

The "List of differences" shows the HTTP requests sent during the last replay of a script. It contains 8 columns:

  1. Maximum severity level: Maximum value of the severity levels specified in the , , and columns

  2. #: a counter which is incremented each time a new HTTP request is executed.

  3. ID: HTTP request identifier

  4. URL: the HTTP request URL

  5. : Http status code Severity; The "Replay Differences" engine compares the status code of the captured and replayed HTTP requests . If they match one of the rules specified in the HTTP status code list of rules specified in the "Replay Differences Options", the corresponding rule severity is associated to the HTTP request.

  6. : HTML Title; The "Replay Differences" engine compares the HTML title of the captured and replayed HTTP requests. If they are different, the severity specified in the HTTP Content view in the "Replay Differences Options" is associated to the HTTP request.

  7. : Body Size; The "Replay Differences" engine compares the response size of the captured and replayed HTTP requests. If the ratio of the sizes is larger than the one specified in the HTTP Content view in the "Replay Differences Options", the corresponding severity is associated to the HTTP request.

  8. : HTTP Header; The "Replay Differences" engine compares the HTTP headers in the response of the captured and replayed HTTP requests. If they match one of the rules specified in the HTTP Header view in the "Replay Differences Options", the corresponding rule severity is associated to the HTTP request.

Selecting a line in the list updates the "Overview" and "Details" views.

 

Right click on the list to open the contextual menu. It allows to:

Overview

The Replay differences overview, located on the top right part of the "Replay Differences" view, shows a quick description of the differences.

Details

The Details view shows the details of the differences between the data sent and received during the capture and the data sent and received during the replay.

The Details view is composed of two view:

Each view is composed of two parts:

Client details

Select the Client ()tab of the details view:

The top part shows the URL differences (highlighted in red).

The middle part shows the HTTP headers differences. An icon is added at the left side of an HTTP header if a difference is found for this header.

The header is present in both Capture and Replay but has a different value
The header is missing in the other view.

The bottom part shows the body differences (for POST requests).

Server details

Select the Server ()tab of the details view:

 

The top part shows the HTTP headers differences. An icon is added at the left side of an HTTP header if a difference is found for this header.

The header is present in both Capture and Replay but has a different value
The header is missing in the other view.

The bottom part shows the response body differences:
