SLA results

SLA results are displayed in the SLA tab of the "Global Timer/SLA" view.

The SLA results view is composed of 2 parts:

  1. The list view located on top gives the SLA report: it displays the SLA status for each timer on each virtual user step.
A cell with a green background color means that the SLA status is "succeeded".
A cell with a red background color means that the SLA status is "failed".
Select a cell in the list view; detailed information is displayed in the bottom view.

  2. The tab view located on bottom contains two tabs:

SLA report list view

The list view contains one column for each load level (number of virtual users) and one row for each timer. The SLA status for each timer and each load level is displayed with a green backgound color for a succeeded status or a red backgound color for a failed status.

If the SLA criteria for a timer and a virual users step is related to response time, the cell displays the average response time and the percentage of timers which have exceeded the response time threshold specified in the configuration:

Example of results with the "[Timer >60000ms] < 8%" SLA configuration :

The timer  average response time is 36619 ms. 0% of timers exceeded the response time threshold specified in the configuration. It is less than 8%; the SLA status is OK
The timer  average response time is 66260 ms. 36% of timers exceeded the threshold specified in the configuration. It is more than 8%; the SLA status is Failed

If the SLA criteria for a timer and a virual users step is related to transaction errors, the cell displays the percentage of transactions which failed.

Example of results with the "Transaction Error < 10%" SLA configuration :

0% of transactions have failed. It is less than 10%; the SLA status is OK
100% of transactions have failed. It is more than 10%; the SLA status is Failed

SLA detailed information

Select a cell in the SLA list view; detailed information related to the selected cell are displayed in the bottom view.

Timer response time

If the selected cell is related to timer response times, the view displays a chart containing three series:

The load level (number of virtual users) corresponding to the selected cell is highlighted in yellow (12 virual users on the chart below).

Transaction errors

If the selected cell is related to transaction errors, the view displays a list containing one row for each executed transaction. This row display the number of errors of each type which occurs during the transaction execution (between the "start timer" and "end timer" statements).

The list of columns depends on the SLA configuration. A different columns is created for each different kind of error.

Timestamp Timestamp
User Id Virtual user identifier
Check Failed (P) Number of check failed on Primary requests only between the start timer and end timer
Network error (P)

Number of network errors on Primary requests only between the start timer and end timer

4xx (P)

Number of 403 and 404 http status on Primary requests only between the start timer and end timer

5xx (P)

Number of 5xx http status on Primary requests only between the start timer and end timer
Check Failed (All)

Number of check failed on all http requests between the start timer and end timer

Network error (All) Number of network errors on  all http requests between the start timer and end timer
4xx (All) Number of 403 and 404 http status on all http requests between the start timer and end timer
5xx (All) Number of 5xx http status on all http requests between the start timer and end timer
