SNMP Tree Walk Commands
The Walk command fills the SNMP tree with all the OIDs relating to the selected folder:
When a walk is executed, different kinds of nodes are inserted in the SNMP tree.
OID: An object identifier (or object ID) uniquely identifies a managed object in the MIB hierarchy. The MIB hierarchy can be depicted as a tree with a nameless root, the levels of which are assigned by different organizations. OIDs are the tree leaves.

considered invalid and are displayed with the
icon (i.e. strings).
Folders | :
To execute a walk under a selected folder, click on the toolbar icon or on the the Walk contextual menu option or press the F7 key. If a previous walk has been stopped before completion ( icon) on the current folder, executing a new walk will restart the process from the last OID inserted. To execute a Walk All, select the Walk all contextual menu option. The sub-tree located under the selected folder is removed and created again. Beginning of Walk Automatically Delete Folder End of Walk
The Stop Walk command stops a Walk before it ends ( toolbar icon).
